Yoga+ Holidays 2011

Yoga+ Nature - Sat June 18th to Sat June 25th. Awaken your senses to the richly varied flora and fauna of Las Alpujarras. Practise yoga in an ancient threshing circle, explore the wooded barrancos and alpine forests of the Sierra Nevada National Park, home to Ibex, golden eagles and many rare species of flowers. Breathe some of the cleanest air in Europe and drink from our local fuente (natural spring). Summer visitors to the area include golden oriels, hoopoes and bee-eaters, which can be seen from our terraces in the summer months. The night skies can be spectacularly clear and your week will include some star-gazing up in the natural park. Please note that this holiday will involve walking at an altitude of up to 1500m and includes some steep gradients. Good walking boots and a reasonable level of fitness are required.

Yoga+ Fiesta - Sun September 3rd to Sunday September 11th. Fancy learning a proud Pasa Doble, a feisty Flamenco or a sultry Salsa? Limber up Monday to Friday with a mid-morning Yoga class followed by partner dance lessons led by James and Bethan (please note that these are beginners level classes learning basic steps & sequences). Enjoy free afternoons to explore the local area, swim or just relax on our sun terraces.
Fiesta kicks off on Friday 9th and sizzles until dawn on Sunday 11th with communal feasting, marching band and pyrotechnics - be prepared to party!





Yoga+ Homespun - Sat October 1st to 8th Remember when Granny used to crochet by the fire whilst Grandad made plum jam? In El Golco we have re-discovered our love of making things and learned new skills. During your stay your can choose from activities such as knitting, crochet, basket-weaving, green woodwork, harvesting almonds, making jams and chutneys, baking pizzas and bread. Start each day feeling refreshed after Yoga or take a constitutional walk with Hazy, our greyhound. Pick your own fruit & herbs, make, bake and chat around a wood-burning fire. Yoga+Homespun will inspire and equip you with new creative skills and connect you with a living, local culture of self-sufficiency in Las Alpujarras.

Yoga+ Holiday prices: All 2011 Holidays are £595 per person (including transfers from Malaga to El Golco). This is based on two people sharing a twin or double room. Book your holiday with a 10% deposit before March 31st and enjoy a 10% discount on the final price.
